For visitors

18 and older, with some mountain bike experience. Sign the waiver online before you come. Rental bikes must be booked in advance. Lights are mandatory this fall. Park on Canvarco Road or in the nearby plazas.

Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Slow, medium and fast groups; the slow group leaves no rider behind. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
