No booking: just turn up. Any brand of bike is welcome, bought anywhere. Helmet and gloves asked for, and the store asks riders to carry bicycle insurance.

About the 朝活サイクリング group ride

朝活サイクリング is a road and social group ride in Tokyo, Japan. It rolls every Saturday at 7:00 am local time from Giant Store Meguro-dori (ジャイアントストア目黒通り).

A short Saturday-morning shop ride for new and easygoing riders: 20 to 30 km, back by about 9:00. The route is picked on the day from three standards: Tokyo Tower via Shiba Park, easy laps of Komazawa Park, or a photo stop at Giant Japan's head office. Beginners are the point of it.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
