a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Pace isn't posted. Ask the host before you go, or say you're new when you arrive. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Ranch Camp Ladies Rides is a mountain bike group ride in Stowe, VT. It rolls every other Monday at 5:30 pm from Rotating trailheads around Stowe; shop at 311 Mountain Rd.

Free women's mountain bike rides led by Ranch Camp ambassadors, with LGBTQ+ riders explicitly welcome. Trailheads rotate around Stowe and occasionally Woodstock. Some rides are catered; order food by the Friday before. Sign up on Eventbrite.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
