Free. Fill out the 2026 rider waiver online and pick up the sticker at the shop. Helmet and lights required. Check the blog on the day, rain cancels.

Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Pace isn't posted. Ask the host before you go, or say you're new when you arrive. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

About the Thursday Night Millstone Adventure Hour group ride

Thursday Night Millstone Adventure Hour is a mountain bike group ride in Barre, VT. It rolls every Thursday at 5:30 pm from Brook St. Garage, Millstone Trails parking.

A weekly mountain bike ride on the Millstone Trails. It opens with a beginner-friendly warm-up loop of 40 to 45 minutes, then continues for another 40 to 45 minutes for intermediate riders. The shop asks riders to make room for BIPOC, women and queer folks.
