Helmets are required, and you sign the waiver and RSVP on Meetup, same as the group's other rides. Bring plenty of water. The host says that if you struggle to keep up the group slows down, and if you need to turn back a leader rides back with you.

- Expect 11–20+ mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.
