Fairbanks Cycle Club membership is required; the club offers temporary memberships. Helmets are mandatory and bright clothing is asked for. Unofficial meetup rides need no membership.

a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Medium pace; no-drop; regroups often. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the Moderate Mondays (gravel-ish) group ride

Moderate Mondays (gravel-ish) is a gravel group ride in Fairbanks, AK. It rolls every Monday at 6:00 pm from UAF Nenana parking lot (across from the Patty Center / SRC).

A no-drop, all-surface group ride of 10 to 18 miles and two to three hours, at a medium pace on road, gravel and mellow trails. When no leader is scheduled it becomes an unofficial meetup at 6 pm. Rides sometimes start elsewhere; leaders are listed on the club's page.
