Fairbanks Cycle Club membership is required; the club offers temporary memberships. Helmets are mandatory and bright clothing is asked for. Informal meetup rides need no membership.

- Expect 12–15 mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
