About the Casual Road Friday group ride

Casual Road Friday is a road group ride in Palmer, AK. It rolls some Fridays at 6:15 pm from Backcountry Bike & Ski.

A friendly group ride for novice and intermediate riders on drop-bar bikes, about an hour at 12 to 15 mph. The Sept 4 ride was a 14.5-mile out-and-back on the Glenn bike path. The host says the Friday rides stop after October because daylight gets short.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
