About the The Shootout group ride

The Shootout is a road group ride in Tucson, AZ. It rolls every Saturday at 7:00 am from University Blvd & Euclid Ave.

Tucson's famous fast Saturday road ride. Three groups leave a few minutes apart on the same route south of town. It is self-supported and riders separate by pace. Not a beginner ride. The 16–20 mph group is the friendliest option.

I do the miles. You decide who they’re for.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
