For visitors

To get route sheets you must be a member on the weekly announcement list. Visitors and trial riders email the club president first (Contact page on the club site). Helmets and the club's ride-safety rules apply; riders under 18 must ride with a parent. The Starbucks at this start closed in September; the club says the ride keeps starting in the same lot.

Expect 13+ mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Sunday Social Ride (Conejo Valley Cyclists) is a road and social group ride in Thousand Oaks, CA. It rolls every Sunday at 8:30 am from Von's parking lot on Agoura Rd (the Starbucks corner).

A no-drop Sunday loop out of the Agoura Road shopping center, 20 or more miles at 13 mph or better with moderate climbing. The Oct 4 route is 24 miles and about 1,450 feet through Las Flores and Greenmeadow. On alternate Sundays the club also runs a mountain bike ride.
