- Bring
- a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 7:30 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Standard route is no-drop with a sweep rider; faster riders go around 20 mph. Ride with the main group your first time, not the fast one. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the Saturday Cycling group ride
Saturday Cycling is a road group ride in Tempe, AZ. It rolls every Saturday at 7:30 am from Kiwanis Park, the parking lot on S. All America Way nearest Mill Ave.
The club calls it the big weekly ride for everyone. Routes rotate through more than a dozen loops, always with a ~25-mile and a ~35-mile option. The standard route is no-drop with a sweep, and faster riders run around 20 mph. Optional breakfast stop near the finish. The club also runs a Wednesday no-drop ride from changing Southeast Valley starts.
