Registration is required but free for everyone. Bring front and rear lights. The ride goes west for about an hour and returns.

Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

Expect 12–14 mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Fox Valley Bicycle & Ski Club Tuesday Trail Ride is a road group ride in St. Charles, IL. It rolls every Tuesday at 5:30 pm from James O Breen Community Park, east-side lot off Peck Rd.

A Tuesday-evening trail ride west from St. Charles: 20 to 25 miles at 12 to 14 mph, one hour out and back. The club says all rides except its Advanced ones are no drop.
