The ride leader's note on the event page asks you to register on the club calendar first. The club's 'About Our Rides' page says all its rides except Advanced are no-drop, and also says it is not offering Novice or Casual rides for lack of leaders, yet the calendar lists this one through Oct 26 with the leader's own note and no cancellation.
