a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect under 10 mph: you can talk the whole way. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the Beer Junction Bike Club group ride

Beer Junction Bike Club is a social and road group ride in Seattle, WA. It rolls last Saturday of the month at 2:00 pm from The Beer Junction (back parking lot).

A monthly beer-paced loop around West Seattle that starts and ends at The Beer Junction. Rides are led by a rotating group of experienced riders and run 4 to 10 miles at a slow pace, about 30 to 60 minutes. Bring a helmet and an ID.
