Register on the club site first. Non-members may join one COGS ride under the club's insurance policy, then need to join. Rain doesn't usually cancel it.

First time on this ride? Here’s the drill

a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.

Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:45 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
