For visitors

Open to members and non-members. Helmet at all times, front light and rear flasher when it is dark, no aero bars, no earphones. The club tells novices to try the Friday ride first. The ride goes through high-traffic areas, and the club warns about car doors and fast red lights.

Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:30 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 18–30 mph: fast — for riders who race or train. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

Marina Ride (Velo Club La Grange) is a road group ride in Santa Monica, CA. It rolls every Tuesday at 6:30 am from 26th St & San Vicente Blvd, at Blue Bottle Coffee.

A fast weekday-morning road ride from Santa Monica south through Venice and Marina del Rey and back, 26 miles in a double paceline. It starts with a warm-up lap around the Brentwood Country Club, builds to a sprint on San Vicente and finishes with a final sprint on the same street. Coffee in the area afterward.
