- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 7:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Social, level 1–2. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the SATX Social Ride group ride
SATX Social Ride is a social group ride in San Antonio, TX. It rolls every Tuesday at 7:00 pm from Burleson Beer Garden.
A big Tuesday night social ride through San Antonio. It grew from six riders to close to 300 a week, with about 30 volunteer marshals handling mechanicals and traffic. No-drop and follows the rules of the road so new riders are not stressed.
