For visitors

The ride leader carries extra maps for non-members. The Meetup group is private: ask to join and read the waiver first, then the start shows on each event. You need to be able to ride about 2 hours at 10 to 12 mph over some rolling terrain.

Bring
a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 10–12 mph on average: you can talk the whole way. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
