For visitors
Guests can sign up for 30 days of free membership, and PBA asks riders to register for each ride on its calendar. New riders should start one level below the group they think they belong in.
First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
- Bring
- a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 8:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Expect 11–13 mph: you can talk the whole way. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
- Check
- Look at the host's website the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the PBA Saturday Club Rides group ride
PBA Saturday Club Rides is a road group ride in Plano, TX. It rolls every Saturday at 8:00 am from Gulledge Elementary School parking lot (novice groups); faster groups start at Spring Creek & Coit.
Plano Bicycle Association runs a ladder of Saturday rides, from Novice up to fast groups. Novice, Step-Up and B Squared leave from Gulledge Elementary and are no-drop. The club asks new riders to start one level below where they think they belong. Ride leaders hold the posted speed.
