For visitors

Club rides are members-only for insurance. To try one, buy a one-time $10 Club Day Pass from Ontario Cycling (credited back if you join) and contact rides@ottawabicycleclub.ca first. Register on obcrides.ca (the Oct 3 ride closed registration Oct 2, 9:00 pm). Bring two spare tubes or a tubeless kit, a pump and a multi-tool; 32 mm tires or wider recommended for Oct 3.

Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 9:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
The easiest pace the host lists is 20–22 km/h: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Saturday Gravel Ride is a gravel group ride in Ottawa, Canada. It rolls every Saturday at 9:00 am local time from Changes weekly (Oct 3, 2026: Blakeney Rapids Park).

The Ottawa Bicycle Club's weekly mixed-surface ride. Routes mix pavement, hardpack and gravel around the National Capital, and rides lean toward riders new to gravel. Each listing names the surface and the tire size it needs. The club follows a strict no-drop policy on gravel rides.
