- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 7:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Social. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

A weekly social ride that meets at the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park every Thursday at 7. Run by Time's Up!, the volunteer environmental group that also hosts a fix-your-own-bike workshop and the Wednesday night skate.
