- Expect 15–17 mph on average: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Freewheel MPLS Wednesday Night Ride is a road and gravel group ride in Minneapolis, MN. It rolls every Wednesday at 6:00 pm from Freewheel Bike Minneapolis.
A weekly road ride out of the Freewheel shop near the U of M. About 25 miles at 15–17 mph. Road or gravel bike, helmet and light. Sign the waiver through the Strava club event; weather cancellations post there too. The 2026 series ends September 16.
