For visitors

The start follows sunset, so it is about 5:40 pm in early October and earlier in winter. The parade's page shows each night's boarding and takeoff times. Bring headlights and taillights.

a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before the start time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Slow, party pace. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.
