Registration is not required. The club's home page invites non-members to join a ride. Rain cancels; the club says to check its Ride Announcements Forum an hour before. The group rides single and double pace lines, rotating every few miles.

Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
The easiest pace the host lists is 14–16 mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

In 2027 I ride 10,000 miles, all on the bike, every one of them for queer communities. You pledge a few cents a mile and pick which org it goes to. It starts January 1.
