- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 8:30 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- No riders left behind before the first pit stop. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

About the The Sunday Chug group ride
The Sunday Chug is a gravel group ride in Lawrence, KS. It rolls every Sunday at 8:30 am from Sunflower Outdoor & Bike Shop.
A weekly gravel ride out of Sunflower in downtown Lawrence. It usually rolls at 8:30, with an early or late option depending on season and weather. Nobody gets left before the first pit stop, where the shop provides water, coffee and gels. There's a free bike wash at the shop after. Routes are on the Strava club.
