For visitors
Wear lights and reflective gear. In January the organisers said electric bikes, scooters and skates are not allowed. The regular Sunday RecreActiva runs the next morning. Closures on Javier Mina–Juárez and Fray Antonio Alcalde affect buses and the light rail that evening.

- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 7:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Open street, no pace. Families and walkers share the road. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the Vía RecreActiva Nocturna (Bien de Noche) group ride
Vía RecreActiva Nocturna (Bien de Noche) is an open-streets program in Guadalajara, Mexico: streets closed to cars and open to bikes. It runs first Saturday of the month from 7:00 pm local time.
The night edition of Guadalajara's car-free street program, held with the Bien de Noche festival on the first Saturday of each month. Av. Vallarta and Paseo Alcalde close to cars from 7:00 to 11:00 pm, with music, workshops and a lot of people on bikes.
