For visitors
No permits, no insurance, no dues. The club says you ride at your own risk. Its core values include welcoming all new riders. The 5:30 am early miles start before sunrise, so bring lights. First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:30 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- A and B groups. First regroup at the Safeway in Estrella Mountain about 1.2 hours after the start. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
- Check
- Look at the host's website the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the Saturday Group Ride (A and B) group ride
Saturday Group Ride (A and B) is a road group ride in Goodyear, AZ. It rolls every Saturday at 6:30 am from Red Robin, Goodyear (all of the club's rides start here).
West Valley Cycle's Saturday road ride from the Red Robin in Goodyear. The A and B groups offer a 40-mile half ride or a 62-mile full ride, with a first regroup at the Safeway in Estrella Mountain. Optional early miles start an hour before the main ride. C and Delta groups ride the same day and post their own start and time on Facebook.
