Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

Expect 15–17 mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

Monday Night Ride (Blue Ridge Parkway Viaduct loop) is a road group ride in Blowing Rock, NC. It rolls every Monday at 5:30 pm from Blowing Rock public parking deck (top level).

The classic Viaduct loop out of Blowing Rock, 30 miles with about 2,500 feet of climbing. Most riders climb US 221 and descend the Parkway back to town. The group regroups before the Parkway descent and again near the end. Parkway closures in 2026 change the usual route.
