- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Beginner-friendly, small groups. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Shifting Gears Women's Mountain Bike Ride is a mountain bike group ride in Bellingham, WA. It rolls every Monday at 5:30 pm from Galbraith Mountain or Lake Padden trailheads (varies weekly).
A weekly Monday evening trail ride for women 18 and up, whatever their experience, body size or nerves. Groups are capped at eight riders with two leaders. Rides go on Galbraith Mountain or at Lake Padden. Register ahead; sign-ups open two weeks before each ride.
