For visitors

Baton Rouge Bike Club rides are for members, but the first ride is free and non-members are limited to two club rides (its 'About A Club Ride' page). Helmets required, sign-in with a contact phone. Bad-weather cancellations go on the club's Facebook group. The start moves to the Goodwood Library lot on some Sundays, so read the week's event listing.

Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 10–15 mph: you can talk the whole way. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Tour du Café C Ride (Baton Rouge Bike Club) is a road and social group ride in Baton Rouge, LA. It rolls every Sunday at 11:30 am from Broadmoor United Methodist Church parking lot.

The club's Sunday no-drop ride at a C pace (10 to 15 mph). It starts with a 40 mile ride from Broadmoor, picks up riders at Goodwood Park (30 miles total) and at the City Park Tennis Center (20 miles total), and stops for coffee. The leader says less experienced riders can learn group skills on it.
