- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Expect 10 mph: you can talk the whole way. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the Baltimore Bike Party group ride
Baltimore Bike Party is a social group ride in Baltimore, MD. It rolls last Friday of the month at 7:00 pm from St. Mary's Park.
A monthly mass slow roll through Baltimore. All ages, all bikes, no registration. The route changes every month and is posted a day or two before. Rides under West Coast rules, stopping at red lights, and ends around 9 at an after-party.
