For visitors

You can be dropped, but the group tries to have a sweeper and sometimes regroups at the dam. Bring good lights for dark rides. For weather cancellations see the group's Instagram. Some riders park in west Annapolis near Chessie's Wharf for extra road miles.

Bring
a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
As fast or slow as you want; one counter-clockwise lap of Waterworks Park; slower riders can cut the deeper loops. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
