For visitors

Free entry and free parking in the East Lot at the County Center. Everyone must be off the parkway by 1:50 pm in May, September and October, and by 11:50 am in June and July. Class 1 e-bikes only. No headphones. State law requires helmets for children under 14. Slower traffic keeps to the right lane. The county cancels in rain.

About the Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway group ride

Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway is an open-streets program in White Plains, NY: streets closed to cars and open to bikes. It runs some Sundays from 10:00 am.

The county closes a 6.5-mile stretch of the Bronx River Parkway to cars on select Sundays, from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Riders, scooters, skaters, walkers and joggers share the road, and the round trip is 13 miles. There is no led ride and nothing to sign up for.
