For visitors

Helmets are required and everyone signs a waiver. Ebikes ride at a manual-bike pace. Oct: ages 12 to 15 need a responsible adult and under 12 is too young; Nov: ages 16+ only, under 18 with an adult. Drizzle or rain cancels. BikeVC pays $5 toward coffee for the first 10 riders.

Ten or fifteen minutes before 9:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 10–13 mph: you can talk the whole way. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

Sunday Morning Coffee Ride (BikeVC) is a social group ride in Ventura, CA. It rolls monthly, on a Sunday at 9:00 am from Posted on each Meetup event; October's ride is built around coffee next to the Ventura Bike HUB.

An easy social ride once a month with a coffee stop. October is a short loop on the Ventura River bike path toward Foster Park, with coffee at Singing Sun on the Avenue next to the Bike HUB. November is an intermediate no-drop ride, about 10 miles out and 10 back to Rabalais in Santa Paula. Rides start with a quick bike check and the club's no-drop ground rules.
