Any kind of bike is fine. Volunteers will check tires, chains and brakes before the ride.
First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- No set pace or distance. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.
