Non-members must pre-register on the club calendar, including a signed waiver; the club recommends it for members too. Bring a gravel, cross or mountain bike with tires for unpaved roads, and insect repellent for yellow flies.

- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 9:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- All paces welcome; the group stays together. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

A Tuesday-morning gravel and dirt-road ride through Plank Road State Forest from the Wacissa River headwaters. About 85 percent of the route is unpaved. The leaders keep the group together and may add a detour down to the river.
