For visitors

Free, but a waiver is required (link on the page). A and B riders can drop back a group if needed; there is no designated sweep, so bring the route from the club's Strava page and be ready to navigate.

Bring
a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 8:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
The easiest pace the host lists is 13–15 mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

About the South Side Training Ride group ride

South Side Training Ride is a road group ride in St. Louis, MO. It rolls every Saturday at 8:00 am from South Side Cyclery.

A coached training ride out of the shop. Riders get in-ride coaching on holding momentum over rolling hills, riding a paceline, cornering and timing an attack. Training efforts happen at River City Casino and Jefferson Barracks Park, then a steady tempo ride back to the shop.
