- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- A pace, fast. It's a drop ride: if you can't hold the pace, you'll finish alone. Fine if you know your speed. Not a first ride.

About the Goon Ride group ride
Goon Ride is a road group ride in Silver Spring, MD. It rolls tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm from Veirs Mill Park.
One of the hardest and fastest drop rides in the DC area, per DC Paceline. Twice a week from Veirs Mill Park during daylight-savings months. Not a beginner ride. Bring lights and know the route.
