This is a drop ride: be comfortable with the pace or know the route. Tri bikes are not allowed in the group during the race segments. Helmet and rear light required; front light required in the dark months. Sign the shop's waiver once each calendar year.

Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Expect 18–20 mph: fast — for riders who race or train. It's a drop ride: if you can't hold the pace, you'll finish alone. Fine if you know your speed. Not a first ride.
