- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- A/B/C/D speed groups. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
- Check
- Look at the host's website the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the RASC Monday Road Ride group ride
RASC Monday Road Ride is a road group ride in Rochester, MN. It rolls every Monday at 6:00 pm from Bamber Valley Elementary School.
A club road ride split into four speed groups so there is a place for most riders. Meets at Bamber Valley Elementary on the southwest side. There is also a Wednesday road ride from Bicycle Sports and a Thursday gravel ride. Helmets required.
