- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Intermediate; climbs with regroups. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
- Check
- Look at the host's website the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the RCB Weekly Intermediate Road Ride group ride
RCB Weekly Intermediate Road Ride is a road group ride in Portland, OR. It rolls every Wednesday at 5:15 pm from River City Bicycles, MLK parking lot (don't park in the lot).
A Wednesday evening road ride from River City Bicycles up into the West Hills. The route changes each week but climbs to Council Crest, with regroups along the way. At the top you can head home or be escorted back to the shop.
