a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.

Ten or fifteen minutes before the meet time. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

Expect 14–17 mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness.

About the LVVBC Monday Night Ride group ride

LVVBC Monday Night Ride is a road group ride in North Las Vegas, NV. It rolls every Monday at 6:00 pm from Vincent L Triggs Elementary (Oct 5 start; check each event).

An after-work road ride in the north valley. The club posts a different 23 to 26 mile loop each Monday, with a Garmin course to download. The pace is steady and the aim is to finish before dark.
