The easiest pace the host lists is 15–17 mph: brisk — you'll want some fitness. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

About the WTCA Tuesday/Thursday Ransom Ride group ride

WTCA Tuesday/Thursday Ransom Ride is a road group ride in Lubbock, TX. It rolls tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 am from Ransom Canyon Center parking lot.

The West Texas Cycling Association's main group ride, in the canyon east of Lubbock. About 30 miles with real hills, and route options that skip some of them. The morning ride is no-drop. The evening ride is faster and drops. Not a beginner ride. Helmets are mandatory and times can change, so watch the club's Facebook page.
