First time on this ride? Here’s the drill
- Bring
- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- The easiest pace the host lists is 10–12 mph: you can talk the whole way. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.
- Check
- Look at @fingerlakescycling the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the FLCC Women's Road Ride group ride
FLCC Women's Road Ride is a road group ride in Ithaca, NY. It rolls every Wednesday at 6:00 pm from East Hill Plaza, parking lot behind Tompkins Community Bank.
A Wednesday evening women's ride with three pace groups. It is no-drop: the group waits for flats and regroups at climbs and big intersections. The C group keeps it shorter with less climbing. Road, hybrid and gravel bikes all work. Bring lights.
