For visitors
You must join the club and Cycling Nova Scotia online before you ride, so this is not a drop-in ride. Needs a drop-bar road bike. New riders are told to start with the orientation Saturday rides in May and June.

- Bring
- a helmet, water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 10:00 am. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Expect 25 km/h: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
- Check
- Look at @rockylakecycling the day of — that's where cancellations, weather calls and start changes get posted.

About the RLC Saturday Ride group ride
RLC Saturday Ride is a road group ride in Halifax, Canada. It rolls every Saturday at 10:00 am local time from Parking lot behind ChaaBaa Thai, Bedford.
The main club ride of Rocky Lake Cycling in Bedford, through Waverley and Fall River. Riders split into groups by route and skill, each with a ride leader. Rocky Lake also runs a Sunday Cookie ride.
