40 to 60 miles, climbing; regroups, but treat it as a drop ride. It's a drop ride: if you can't hold the pace, you'll finish alone. Fine if you know your speed. Not a first ride.

The club's Saturday road ride through the fall, rotating between Golden, Ken Caryl and Boulder County. Expect 40 to 60 miles with real climbing and an occasional gravel stretch. The group regroups along the way but is a drop ride. Oct 3 is the 51-mile Lookout, Saddleback and Grapevine loop from Beverly Heights Park.
