- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:15 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.

- Expect 11–18+ mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.

About the Thursday Afternoon Social Ride group ride
Thursday Afternoon Social Ride is a road group ride in Gladeville, TN. It rolls every Thursday at 5:15 pm from Gladeville Community Center.
