The easiest pace the host lists is 14–16 mph: steady — you'll breathe hard on the hills. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

A Thursday-night gravel ride run by Trek's Ride Club out of Fort Worth South. Two pace groups, a faster one at 16 to 18 mph and a mild one at 14 to 16 mph. The back group sweeps, so it is no-drop. Ends with a beer on a patio.
