For visitors

Free, but register for the date you plan to ride. Helmet and a bike light required. It ends with an optional happy hour at Ridgeville Tavern. Parking: Sherman Plaza Self Park, a block from Fountain Square.

a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
Arrive
Ten or fifteen minutes before 5:30 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
Pace
Two groups: leisurely (about 10 miles) and fast (about 20 miles). It splits into pace groups. Pick the slowest one your first time; you can move up next week.
