- a helmet, front and rear lights (it's a dark-hours ride), water, a spare tube or patch kit, a way to pay for the stop.
- Arrive
- Ten or fifteen minutes before 6:00 pm. Tell whoever's leading that you're new.
- Pace
- Slow, social. It's no-drop: if you fall off the back, someone waits. That's the point of a group ride.

About the Slow Roll Erie group ride
Slow Roll Erie is a social group ride in Erie, PA. It rolls every Thursday at 6:00 pm from West Perry Square, by the artistic bike rack.
A free, noncompetitive ride around downtown Erie for all skill levels. Different route each week, about an hour, then hanging out in the square. Rides on open streets, so not for young kids.
